Congratulations to the Blenheim Group for securing the final site plan approval from New Castle County Council on March 26, 2024. After years of painstaking planning and design, and the completion of over 1750 homes, the master-planned Village of Bayberry is poised to realize its long-awaited “Town Center”. This ambitious mixed-use project encompasses 145 townhomes, 30,000 square feet of office space, and nearly 250,000 square feet of retail and restaurant areas. The retail component of the Town Center will feature a 64,000-square-foot Weis Supermarket, a pharmacy, a gas station, multiple drive-thru restaurants, and other retail and restaurant spaces. Karins and Associates has been instrumental in shaping Bayberry’s various villages, and very proud to have assisted Blenheim with the master planned community from the time of its concept to its final engineering and construction. We excitedly look forward to the construction of the commercial component of the master plan, so eagerly awaited by the community. Notably, the Weis Markets location will mark the 4th in Delaware and the 1st in New Castle County. This milestone promises to enhance the vibrant community of Bayberry, which spans 1,500 acres between Route 13 and Route 301.
