Nanticoke Health Services is proud to announce that Lara Hudson, BSN, RN, has been named Director of Clinical Operations and Population Health. In this position, Ms. Hudson is accountable for overseeing both the Nanticoke Physician Network (NPN) and Employee Care Coordination Programs, quality and data, and the eBrightHealth ACO partnership in order to provide a smooth transition of care for all patients. Additionally, Ms. Hudson will oversee population health across all of Nanticoke Health Services to increase quality, reduce cost, and increase patient satisfaction to achieve the triple aim of healthcare. She will also help monitor admissions, reduce readmissions, and engage in new partnerships with home health, hospice, and skilled nursing facilities to assist in transitioning patients. Ms. Hudson started her career at Nanticoke in December 1999 as a CNA at Life Care while pursuing her RN degree. In 2001, she transferred into the Emergency Department (ED) as an ED Tech and graduated with her RN degree in 2003. Ms. Hudson has also worked in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) and at the Georgetown Primary Care office. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from Wilmington University prior to moving into NPN administration in 2011. In this department, Ms. Hudson has served in several positions including EMR Administration and Manager of Clinical Programs. She is set to graduate with her Master of Science in Management (MSM) – Healthcare Administration from Wilmington University this December.
