Nanticoke Health Services is proud to announce that Barbara Truitt, BA, RN, WCC, CLT, CWOCN, has been named Director of Wound Care Services. In this position, Ms. Truitt will oversee the day-to-day operations of Nanticoke’s Wound Care and Hyperbaric Center and inpatient wound and ostomy care. Ms. Truitt is an eighth-generation Delaware native who brings with her extensive experience in wound care medicine. She is a registered nurse certified in wound care, a certified lymphedema therapist, and is a Certified Wound, Ostomy, Continence Nurse (CWOCN). Ms. Truitt holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Saint Leo University and is currently attending Bellevue University studying Healthcare Administration. She has served the community with Nanticoke Memorial Hospital for 19 years. Nanticoke’s Wound Care and Hyperbaric Center offers teamwork, coordinated care, advanced technologies and excellent outcomes all in one convenient location. Nanticoke’s specially-trained physicians create a holistic treatment plan to heal each patient’s wounds and prevent their recurrence. Dr. Kollampare specializes in Internal Medicine and Rheumatology and is accepting new patients at the Arthritis & Osteoporosis Center located at 1350 Middleford Road, Suite 502 in Seaford. Dr. Kollampare received her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) after a six-year medical program at the Kasturba Medical College in Mangalore, India. She completed her fellowship in Rheumatology and her residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Arizona College of Medicine in Tucson, Arizona, where she served as a Chief Resident.
