Event Description: The Mission of The African Business EXPO USA franchise is: 1.Creation of new business opportunities between the US and Africa as per the African Growth and Opportunity Act (AGOA) program by exposing products and services from medium size African companies to US businesses. 2.Making a positive US influence in the African markets. 3.Creation of US jobs that enable ordinary people to do extraordinary things The African Business EXPO USA is an annual franchise of African Wood Inc., a company incorporated in the State of Delaware, which has been in business since august 2005, the events provides opportunity for established and successful African Small & Medium Enterprises to showcase their products and services to the American market. The events also provide an opportunity to American companies to market their capital goods and technical expertise to the African SME hence creating a long lasting mutually beneficial business relationship between the two regions. The theme of the EXPO is to enable successful Small and Medium Enterprises (SME) from Africa to show case their products and services to both commercial and retail buyers in the USA with the objective of establishing long-term mutually beneficial business relations. To enable American companies look at East Africa as an alternative source of manufacturing and market for their products. East Africa’s well educated English speaking workforce combined with local manufacturing capabilities and government export production tax incentives provides a very attractive product manufacturing base for American products. The event has 200 booths with exhibitors hoping to showcase their products and services, sell their products and establish long term business relationships in manufacturing and capital goods purchase.
