Event Description: This 1 1/2 day training program, now in its 11th year, provides employers with an overview of the rationale, strategies, and tactics for "value-based purchasing" of health benefits. Taught by a national faculty, the College combines didactic presentations with case studies, in a small group learning environment, giving attendees the opportunity to interact with faculty and each other, and come away with specific ideas for improving their wellness programs and health benefit strategies. The College for Value Based Purchasing of Health Benefits (CVBP) was created in 2004 to help employee benefit managers meet the growing challenges of providing high quality health benefits while managing rising benefit costs. CVBP is a joint venture of National Business Coalition on Health (NBCH), Greater Philadelphia Business Coalition on Health (GPBCH) and HealthCare 21 Business Coalition (HC21).
