Event Description: Please join us on Thursday, April 6th, as the Greater Philadelphia Business Coalition on Health (GPBCH) holds our 5th Anniversary Celebration at the Comcast Center. We will commemorate our first five years of working with employers and other healthcare system stakeholders to improve population health and healthcare quality, safety, and value. We will recognize our founding employer members -- AstraZeneca, Comcast Corporation, Day & Zimmermann, Merck, Public Health Management Corporation, Stradley Ronon, Vanguard, and Wawa -- as well as our founding affiliate members -- Boehringer Ingelheim, the Health Care Improvement Foundation, Johnson & Johnson, Kistler Tiffany Benefits, Mercer, Pfizer, the Trion Group, and United Healthcare. There will be welcoming remarks from David L. Cohen, Senior Executive Vice President of Comcast Corporation, and The Honorable James Francis Kenney, Mayor of Philadelphia. Our guest of honor is Leah Binder, President and CEO of the Leapfrog Group, a national organization promoting safer healthcare. Ms. Binder has been repeatedly recognized in Modern Healthcare's listings of the 100 most influential people in health care and top 25 women in healthcare. GPBCH serves as the Leapfrog Regional Leader for Southeastern Pennsylvania and Delaware, and through our efforts, nearly two-thirds of the region's hospitals are now publicly disclosing important information on patient safety, and demonstrating continued improvement. We hope you will join us for an evening of celebration and networking, while enjoying butlered hors d'oeuvres and fresh cocktails and admiring the view of our beautiful city from the Comcast Center's 43rd Floor.
