As Businesses Automate, Goodwill® Seeks to Provide Workers With In Demand Skills As the need for skilled-workers continues to grow, Goodwill of Delaware and Delaware County (Goodwill) seeks to train and upskill workers to meet business demand. In line with our existing digital skills training program, Goodwill has identified Robotic Process Automation as a unique training opportunity in the First State. The Goodwill team has convened a team of employers and consultants to explore workforce needs around the use of Robotic Process Automation (RPA), an emerging, disruptive technology that unlocks the agility, speed and efficiency needed to respond to rapidly changing business needs by transforming repeatable manual processes to automated ones. Business leaders, human resources professionals, academics, training providers and others are invited to join Goodwill and Automation Anywhere, a leading provider of RPA (BOT) software, training and certification, to experience the benefits of RPA hands-on. Three complimentary Build A Bot Workshops will be offered at the Goodwill Center (300 E. Lea Blvd, Wilmington) on Tuesday, March 3, 2020. Participants will create and run their own software ‘BOT’ on test data, while seeing first-hand how RPA can: • Create efficiencies for their business unit/organization • Eliminate redundancy • Deliver better data accuracy • Uncover trends that can open new opportunities for business growth • Cut out boring repetitive tasks and free your employees up for higher thinking work. The objectives of these workshops are to: • Explore the needs of Delaware employers as they pertain to upskilling for business efficiency • Provide hands-on exposure to RPA technology so that business leaders can connect the capabilities of RPA to the work of their business unit/organization. These workshops are strictly educational and discussion-based. These are NOT sales events. To learn more and register here, password RPA2020.
