Nanticoke Memorial Hospital will be celebrating the 11th anniversary of the Ladies Day golf tournament on Thursday, September 19th, 2019 and the 33rd anniversary of the Open Day Golf Tournament on Friday, September 20th at Heritage Shores in Bridgeville, Delaware. Proceeds from both tournaments will benefit patients of the Allen Cancer Center at Nanticoke. As many know, Nanticoke continues to grow and evolve. We expect many great changes to come, but one thing that doesn’t change is our mission to provide the best possible healthcare to our community. This includes continuing in the quality care provided to patients at the Allen Cancer Center. Delaware ranks 16th in the nation in total cancer deaths. Sussex County continues to have a higher incidence for both breast and lung cancer compared to the national average! The Allen Caner Center at Nanticoke provides, and will continue to provide, nearly 10,000 treatments annually. The healing environment established at the Allen Cancer Center allows providers to provide compassionate and supportive care vital to every cancer patient, no matter their journey. The proceeds from the tournaments not only benefit the Allen Cancer Center, but more importantly directly helps and supports our patients diagnosed with cancer and their families right here in Sussex County. So please join us in fighting this life-altering disease by supporting this year’s tournaments and hopefully, someday Delaware will rank last in cancer deaths! For participation information, registration or to be a sponsor, please contact Tracy Fiori at 302-536-5393, fioric@nanticoke.org or online at www.nanticoke.org/golf. Additional avenues of supporting the tournaments include eagle, birdie and par levels of sponsorship, as well as tee signs and Pink Link sponsorships. Sponsorship opportunities are available to both individuals and businesses. Your support will impact many lives within our community. Together we can make a difference, one stroke at a time!
