The Top Fundraising Team Award for raising the highest contribution towards The Jean Griswold Foundation was given to Anne Eidschun, Owner of Griswold Home Care of New Castle County, DE. Eidschun and the team at Griswold Home Care of New Castle County, DE raised $4,300 for the Jean Griswold Foundation. Eidschun ran the Griswold Home Care New Castle office from 2013 until she purchased the franchise in 2019. She brings over 25 years of experience working with seniors to Griswold Home Care. “We are thrilled to recognize these amazing women for their contributions to the Jean Griswold Foundation in support of caregivers everywhere,” said Maryanne Murray, Chairperson of The Jean Griswold Foundation and former Delaware franchise owner. “Caregivers have always been a source of compassion and hope, and now we are honored to offer resources that will help them succeed.” The Foundation was established in 2010 to complement the efforts of Griswold Home Care, one of the oldest non-medical home care franchises in the United States. In October 2021 the foundation successfully received a change in status from a private non-profit to a public non-profit focusing solely on caregivers, who are the lifeblood of Griswold Home Care. This year, the Foundation raised over $105,000 to be used for scholarships that support caregivers’ education and grants that provide assistance in times of hardship. “With humility and appreciation, we recognize the critical role of our caregivers,” said Griswold Home Care CEO Michael Slupecki. “The pandemic was an astonishing reminder of just how important they are to society. Thecontributions of Delaware Franchises and all who have donated to the foundation will greatly assist in our mission to support caregivers everywhere.”
