The Town of Whitehall in partnership with New Castle County Division of Community Resources and The Art Studio present Art Fest, an outdoor art fair, to the Delaware community Saturday, Apr. 22 from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. This will be the ninth year that the Town of Whitehall has celebrated the arts in all forms, bringing recognition to local artists and other handmade vendors who display and sell their work. All are welcome to attend at no charge to enjoy live music, food trucks, and various forms of art. “Whether going to a live concert, an art show or fair, or listening to a local musician at your favorite restaurant, we all know the unreplaceable joy the arts have brought to us as a community, and now more than ever have a longing to return to this joy. We feel the need to share local artists and their talents with you to bring that joy to the Delaware community as a whole. We appreciate New Castle County government’s commitment to art and cultural events and programs; and we look forward to continuing this great partnership.”– Whitehall Co-Founder Brian DiSabatino Celebrating the arts has always been a key principle at Whitehall which last year added recreation space operated by New Castle County. The Whitehall Recreation Center offers programs for adults, children and families from fitness to the arts. Whitehall is always looking to blend art and recreation with the community. This year will be Whitehall’s biggest Art Fest yet, with over 70 vendors in attendance. For event information visit: https://www.newcastlede.gov/2416/Art-Fest-Art-Fair-2023.
